Jesse Jessie Tagoe-Korli Esq.

Jessie Naa Ayesah Tagoe-Korli is a legal practitioner, governance professional, and public sector attorney with extensive experience spanning criminal justice administration, regulatory compliance, institutional governance, legal advisory, policy development, dispute resolution, and public sector leadership within Ghana’s justice and regulatory systems. Her professional work focuses on strengthening governance systems, institutional accountability, regulatory compliance, and ethical leadership frameworks that support sustainable organizational development and public trust.

She currently serves as a State Attorney at the Office of the Attorney-General and Ministry of Justice, where she has handled a broad range of criminal prosecutions, legal advisory assignments, policy-related matters, and complex litigation involving fraud, financial crimes, land disputes, human trafficking, and regulatory enforcement. Her experience includes courtroom advocacy, prosecutorial strategy, stakeholder engagement, legal drafting, legal research, dispute resolution, and advisory support to law enforcement agencies and public institutions.

Jessie serves as Director of Legal Affairs & Governance for Harvestfield Impact Foundation (HIF), where she provides strategic leadership on legal, governance, compliance, risk management, and institutional accountability matters for the Foundation’s humanitarian and community development initiatives. In this role, she supports the development of governance systems, organizational policies, regulatory compliance frameworks, ethical standards, partnership oversight, and institutional accountability structures that strengthen transparency, sustainability, and responsible organizational leadership.

Prior to her current role, Jessie worked with International Justice Mission (IJM), where she contributed to anti-human trafficking initiatives, legal advocacy, criminal prosecutions, and justice sector collaboration involving law enforcement agencies, social welfare institutions, and prosecutors. Her work included legal training, policy review, victim-centred advocacy, and support for initiatives aimed at strengthening justice systems and protecting vulnerable populations.

She has also worked in private legal practice, advising individuals and corporate clients on civil, commercial, family, and regulatory matters while gaining extensive experience in litigation, negotiations, legal documentation, and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Jessie holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Information Technology Law, reflecting her professional interest and expertise in technology governance, digital regulation, data protection, cybersecurity, innovation policy, and emerging legal frameworks shaping modern institutions and societies. She was called to the Ghana Bar in 2016 and continues to contribute to legal practice, governance discourse, and public service through her work within both the justice sector and humanitarian development space.

Her leadership approach is grounded in integrity, accountability, professionalism, ethical governance, and service-driven impact, with a strong commitment to advancing sustainable community development, institutional excellence, access to justice, and responsible humanitarian leadership through collaborative and community-centred engagement.
